Ashley Evans has worked at Carlyle since 2006, where she makes private equity investments in software businesses. She is currently a member of the boards of HireVue, ZoomInfo (NASDAQ:ZI) and Veritas. She was previously involved in the firm’s investments in Kinder Morgan (NYSE: KMI), PQ (sold to CCMP) and Veyance (sold to Continental). In 2018, Ashley co-founded the SynGAP Research Fund (SRF), a non-profit that aims to identify treatments for SynGAP, a rare, genetic neurodevelopmental disorder that affects her older son, 600 other diagnosed patients and 1000s of undiagnosed patients. Ms. Evans received her MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business, where she was a Siebel Scholar and an Arjay Miller Scholar, an MPhil from Cambridge University, where she was a Knox Scholar, and an AB summa cum laude from Harvard College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She lives in Palo Alto with her husband and two sons.
