Alok is the founder and Portfolio Manager of Apos Capital Management, a global long/short equity focused hedge fund. Prior to founding Apos, Alok was at Tiger Management L.L.C. where is started as an analyst and was later promoted to co-portfolio manager. While at Tiger Management L.L.C., he analyzed and invested in companies along a wide range of industries including, but not limited to, energy, technology, internet, telecom, building materials, industrials, financial services and metals. Prior to joining Tiger Management L.L.C., Alok served as an Associate at Bessemer Venture Partners where he invested in a number of successful companies including Skype. Alok began his professional career at Oracle Corporation where he led a development team, started a new product group and oversaw a product management team. Mr. Agrawal is a graduate of the Harvard Business School where he was elected a Siebel Scholar and Baker Scholar. Mr. Agrawal earned his MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur where he was awarded the President of India Gold Medal for outstanding academic achievement.
