About

Iain is an MBA student at the Stanford GSB where he serves on the Schwab Committee and FOAM Committee, and sits on the board of a local non-profit. Iain was also co-founder and CEO of Ballast Energy Systems, a start-up focused on aggregating and intelligently managing distributed energy loads. Prior to Stanford, Iain worked at 3i Group where he was a founding member of the New York office and helped launch 3i's North American private equity business. Iain began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on strategy and marketing projects for clients across various industries. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Yale with a BA in Economics. Iain's professional interests include clean energy, private equity, and digital media, and he is also an avid sports fan.
