Christina is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Bioengineering at Stanford University. Since coming to Stanford, she has been working with Dr. Stephen Quake to develop novel molecular biology tools applicable to the fields such as prenatal diagnosis and the study of cancer. She is a Stanford Graduate Fellow and completed her Masters of Science degree in Bioengineering also at Stanford. She graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University with a bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering and was selected as the Class Salutatorian and the recipient of the George Vincent Wendell Memorial Medal and the Richard Skalak Memorial Prize. She was also a Tau Beta Pi Scholar.
