Shaddin Dughmi is a Ph.D. student in computer science at Stanford University. Shaddin's focus is in the area of algorithmic mechanism design. His research tackles resource allocation problems in environments, such as the Internet, where both computational efficiency and strategic behavior of agents need to be taken into account. Shaddin received his B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University, where he researched algorithms for data clustering. Shaddin has also worked as as an information security engineer at the MITRE corporation, where he developed models and algorithms for cryptographic protocol analysis.
