For my Ph.D., I designed, developed, and evaluated voice applications for information access by low-literate community health workers in Pakistan. I'm now Adjunct Faculty at Carnegie Mellon (Pittsburgh) where I continue this research with Roni Rosenfeld and others. During grad school, I made an iPhone app called Jaadu VNC that's currently in the top 200 revenue generating apps list on the iTunes App Store. I'm now in the Bay Area and am looking to build a team to innovate around this and other applications.
