About

Amadou was born and raised in Senegal. He went to a cadet school there from 6th to 12th grade. After scoring the highest on qualifying exams in all of Senegal in 2014, he came to the United States to study computer science at Carnegie Mellon University. During his undergraduate studies at CMU, Amadou completed two summer internships. The first was at Zillow in Seattle where he worked as a web developer improving their Apache Tapestry infrastructure. The second was with Pure Storage in Mountain View where he worked on accelerating data transfer over wide-networks for cloud-based storage. Amadou graduated with a bachelor’s in computer science from CMU in Spring 2019. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in computer science at CMU and will graduate in Spring 2020.
