Xiaowei Zhu is a master student in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, supervised by Prof. Wenguang Chen. His research focuses on parallel and distributed computing, and big data analytics. He has built several high-performance systems for processing large-scale graphs, designed for different hardware configurations from single-node out-of-core to distributed in-memory scenarios, achieving significant improvement over existing systems in various aspects. Several related research papers have been published in top-tier conferences and journals, including USENIX ATC and ASONAM. He served as the first student advisor of Tsinghua-EMC Innovative Group of Future Cloud Computing. He won several scholarships and awards for his excellent performance in research and social work.
