Scott is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Or Gozani at Stanford. He got his PhD in Biological Engineering studying on how intracellular signaling is disrupted in cancer. He came to MIT after finishing a Master’s degree in Computational Biology as a Gates Scholar at Cambridge University. He received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Stanford University. Scott was treasurer of the MIT Science Policy Initiative, where he organized educational events and graduate student advocacy trips to Washington DC. He also holds a black belt in and teaches Tae Kwon Do.
