Saung is a graduate student participating in the 5 Year M.S. Computer Science program at University of California, Berkeley. He also attained his B.S. in Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley. Saung has worked with Professor Dawn Song, and his area of research lies in issues security. Specifically he uses machine learning techniques to predict vulnerabilities in open source software. Saung gained research experience interning at Cisco Systems, Inc. during the summer of 2010 and has also managed four man teams in two separate computer science class projects. This summer Saung will be interning at Goldman Sachs as a Technology Analyst. His lifelong goals are to further develop and apply his analytical and technical skills to solve interesting problems and create new products of benefit to society.
