Ruizhi is in his second year of graduate study at MIT EECS, conducting research under the supervision of Professor Polina Golland. His research interest lies in biomedical data and image analysis, motivated by the goals of improving clinical practice and healthcare through computation. Ruizhi is currently working on shape modeling for medical image analysis. He obtained his Bachelor degree from Tsinghua University in 2015. During his undergraduate study, he completed several research projects related to medical image computing, computational biology, and computer vision. He worked with faculty at Tsinghua University; at University of Wisconsin–Madison; and at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
