Before attending Chicago Booth, Michael was a biomedical engineer and sales manager for National Instruments Corporation in the United Kingdom. As an engineer, he aided clients in developing cutting edge technologies ranging from neo-natal heart monitoring, to fighter-pilot sensor networks, to space and satellite systems. Michael’s focus with clients was on test, measurement, and automation systems. As a sales manager he led a team of engineers in reaching multimillion revenue targets, developed firm growth strategies, and headed negotiations with over eight hundred clients. While at Chicago Booth, Michael is a facilitator in the Leadership Effectiveness and Development program and is working towards concentrations in economics, finance, strategy, and general management. Outside of work and school, he enjoys making just about anything including cheese, beer, and hot sauce.
