Kate is excited about the intersection of public policy and business. Prior to the GSB she pursued this interest as an investment banking analyst specializing in non-profits; an econometric researcher focused on health care; and a consultant at a clean energy think-tank. At the GSB, Kate is pursuing a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation. She served as an Impact Labs impact investing associate and is both a Global Study Trip leader and an Outdoor Club wilderness guide. This summer, she worked on data-focused investment strategy as a global development intern at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Kate graduated cum laude from Yale University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with distinction. She is an avid reader, an occasional fine artist, and an enthusiastic outdoor adventurer. In 2015, she completed a 500-mile solo thru-hike of the Colorado Trail.
