Alex Burns is a compassionate person who leads with a deep concern for positively impacting organizations, communities, and the people who comprise them. Alex has five years of experience at the intersection of business and technology and uses both analytical and creative thinking to tackle big questions and execute solutions. At IBM, Alex developed strong analytic skills and a sound technical understanding. At TripAdvisor, Alex contributed to the development, marketing, and sale of web-products in a global marketplace. Alex is pursuing her passion for technology, community, and business at Sloan, leading the MIT Technology Club as well as the Board Fellows program. For her summer internship, Alex is expanding her technical and managerial skills at Apple as a program manager within the operations organization. Alex aspires to lead a global technology company and apply managerial skill and technological innovation to bring about business benefit and social good.
