Akshay Chaudhari is a PhD student at Stanford University studying Bioengineering with a concentration in medical imaging. He graduated with honors with a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego. At Stanford, Akshay has been working in the Radiology department with a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. He is a recipient of the Whitaker Fellowship and spent a summer performing research abroad at ETH Zurich. Akshay has been serving as a Bioengineering graduate student coordinator, is a member of the Radiology trainee council, and was a former Community Associate in the Rains graduate housing complex for two years. During his time at Stanford, Akshay has lectured in several Bioengineering and Radiology courses, and mentored undergraduate, graduate, and rotation students. In the past, Akshay has served in leadership roles with Tau Beta Pi (engineering honor society), the Biomedical Engineering Society, and the Stanford Cycling team.
