Angela recently graduated with a B.S. in computer science and engineering from MIT. Her research with the User Interface Design Group under Professor Rob Miller and Max Goldman focuses on collaborative programming interfaces. Her senior project expanded an experimental IDE, making it possible for developers to leverage existing frameworks to jointly create web applications in real time. In the past, Angela has also done research with the MIT Media Lab's Tangible Media and New Media Medicine groups, and has interned at IBM, Google, and most recently, Pixar Animation Studios. Outside of research, Angela has a diverse array of interests. She is the outgoing Vice President of Eta Kappa Nu and a member of Tau Beta Pi, is a black stripe national medalist on the MIT Sport Taekwondo team, a member of MIT Dance Troupe, has played the violin for 12 years, and enjoys tennis and a variety of arts and crafts.
