About

Edward completed his master's degree in Computer Science at Stanford University. He also attended Stanford as an undergraduate, where he earned a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. His academic interests lie in systems and computer graphics. His undergraduate thesis focuses on parallel rasterization of micropolygons. Since his sophomore year, Edward has been a section leader for the CS198 program where he leads discussion, helps students in the lab, and collaborates with lecturers to improve the curriculum. One of his internships included Apture, a web start-up company, where he explored new ways to incorporate multimedia into web-pages. He has also interned at Pixar as a Technical Director intern. He currently back at Pixar as a software engineer. When he is not working, Edward enjoys watching movies, playing piano, and rock climbing.
