Anthony earned his BS in Computer Science and Mathematics at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2004, his MS in Computer Science from Illinois in 2008 and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Computer Science at Illinois. Anthony was a student developer while at undergraduate at Rose-Hulman where he designed, developed, refined, and tested chemical engineering software, Lab2Plant. He worked summer internships for US Army Corps of Engineers in Zama, Japan in 2004. He also was a summer intern with IBM Research working with Claudio Pinhanez and Mark Podiasec where he examined a large corpus of text based chat to motivate a prototype of imagery augmented technical support chat systems. During his tenure as graduate student at Illinois, he has been supported as a Research Assistant under the direction of Professor Karrie Karahalios and as a Teaching Assistant for various CS courses.
