Bio

Noy grew up in New Jersey and studied at Rutgers University, where he received dual degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering and in Chemical Engineering. He is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program at The Johns Hopkins University, where he is concurrently pursuing a medical degree. His doctoral research involves developing miniaturized bioengineering devices. Noy has published seven journal papers and one book chapter in the areas of nanomedicine, biomedical microdevices and self-assembly. Noy was President of Tau Beta Pi at Rutgers and has won several academic awards. He has previously held summer positions in pediatric radiation oncology (St. Jude), carbon capture and sequestration (Carbozyme), fluorescent light electronics (Lutron), and pharmaceutical formulation design (Merck). Noy has also mentored masters and undergraduate student researchers at Johns Hopkins.
