Joaquin Valle del Olmo is Managing Director & Partner at BCG, founder and manager of the Lima office and node for Financial Institutions in Spanish South America. Throughout his career at BCG he has served a wide variety of clients across Europe, US, and Latin America. Joaquin started as an Engineer for Siemens AG in Germany and Spain. In addition to BCG, he has worked at Goldman Sachs in M&A in the UK, in Citigroup and Barclays in Spain and UK covering executive positions. At BCG he is a core member of the Financial Institutions and Insurance practices. He has also addressed issues of strategy, corporate development, transformation, change management, and operations with family-owned, private, and public companies. Joaquín is a graduate of the Stanford Business School where he was elected a Siebel Scholar and Arjay Miller Scholar. Joaquin holds a MS in electrical engineering and a BS in industrial engineering from ICAI-U.P.Comillas where he was Class Valedictorian.
