Guy is an Assistant Professor at Georgia Tech's college of computing. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Professor at Purdue University with a joint appointment in Statistics and Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research areas include machine learning, computational statistics, and information visualization. He received an NSF new faculty early career development award (CAREER), the 2007 Teaching for Tomorrow Award from Purdue University, and the Best Presentation Award in the 2004 LTI Student Research Symposium.
