Ukonwa Ojo is a Marketing Manager at General Mills, a leading global food company with $16 billion in sales and operations in more than 100 countries. While at General Mills, she has successfully led global brands such as Betty Crocker Baking Mixes, Progresso Soup, and Honey Nut Cheerios. She has received General Mills' most presitigous employee recognition - a 2007 Champions Award for the highly successful launch of Progresso Reduced Sodium Soup, as well as a 2008 GIMMIES Award for the Best Multicultural Campaign. In addition, Ukonwa’s work received external recognition when Honey Nut Cheerios received a 2009 Gold ARF David Ogilvy Advertising Award for the “Best of Both Worlds” advertising campaign. Prior to General Mills, Ukonwa was a Business Analyst and ERP Data Project Manager at MeadWestvaco Corporation. Ukonwa graduated with honors with a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Prior to that, she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. Ukonwa is married to Femi Ojo and is an avid runner, foodie, and traveler.
