About

Ignacio studied at the Universidad Simon Bolivar in Venezuela, majoring in Production Engineering and graduating with cum laude honors and in the top 10% of his class. He began his career with Schlumberger Oilfield Services and then joined Booz Allen Hamilton in Caracas. Within two years, he was awarded a rare pre-MBA promotion to Associate. At MIT Sloan, Ignacio elected to join a certificate program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, exposing him to the various facets of company building and enhancing his consulting and engineering background. He has excelled in the classroom and was chosen by his peers to head the Student Senate Academic Committee and be the student representative to the MBA Program Committee. Ignacio has returned to Booz & Company for the summer, in their Chicago office.
