About

Frank is an Associate Professor at the College of Computing, Georgia Tech. His research focuses on probabilistic methods in Robotics and Computer Vision, including the popular Monte Carlo localization method for estimating and tracking the pose of robots. Among his current projects is “4D Cities,” an attempt at automatically recreating the history of major cities in 3D-time.
