2007 - Christopher Gregory

Playwright turned consumer Internet product manager Christopher Gregory is hoping to write a happy ending for his latest endeavor,, a social network for sports fans around the world.  Although FanIQ has grown by orders of magnitude over the last several years (it now has over 10 million registered users), Chris thinks the company—and social networking in general—is only in its first act.

Chris was one of the original members of PayPal’s product management team, where he built many of the online payment facilitator’s earliest web features and functionality.  After five years at PayPal, an MBA from Kellogg, and a summer internship at LinkedIn, Chris found FanIQ through his continued contact with his former PayPal executives.

At FanIQ, Chris enjoys taking on a variety of roles cutting across product development and strategy, as the “Facebook meets ESPN” business moves into different markets and refines its business model.  Outside of work, Chris appreciates his role as a father to his newborn son, and as an author writing his fourth script, a romantic comedy.
